Overview

A hammam is not an ordinary massage but a complete ritual. It starts in the steam room until the skin softens, then the kessa scrub with a coarse mitt that removes the dead layer entirely — the result will surprise you. After that comes the thick soap foam spread over the whole body, then rinsing and rest.

The session ends with an aromatic oil massage whose length depends on the programme you choose, followed by tea or a drink in the relaxation area.

Areas are separate for men and women, and your therapist is always of the same gender. Tell us in advance if you would like a couples programme, or if you have any skin allergy or recent injury.
