Overview

Orange Bay is the beach you have seen in every photo of Hurghada: soft white sand, shallow turquoise water stretching far out, and wooden jetties running into the sea. It sits on the northern tip of Big Giftun Island, about 45 minutes by boat from Hurghada harbour.

The programme is simple and relaxed: a snorkelling stop on living reef on the way, then two to three hours moored at the island — enough time to swim, lie on the sand, take photos and walk the jetties. Lunch is served on board: fish or chicken, rice, pasta and salads.

The trip suits every age. If you cannot swim you can stay in the shallow water by the beach or go in with a life jacket alongside a supervisor. A private version — the boat for your group only, with a more flexible schedule — is also available.
